BRAG Board Meeting


We are looking for a few good men to join our board and I would like to invite anyone interested in seeing what we are all about to attend our next meeting. Coach Troy Hall will attend and it will be a great opportunity to get to know him. Our next board meeting will be 2/13 at 6:30 pm at Paddy’s restaurant in downtown Portland. Special thanks to fellow board member and former kick butt beaver rugger Josh Johnston for offering us the space at his fine establishment.

OSU Rugby Golf Tournament Returns 


At our last meeting the board voted to move forward with the return of the OSU Mens rugby golf tournament fund raiser. It will be help August 3rd, 2019 at Pumpkin Ridge golf course. We will be looking for sponsors for holes, KP’s on Par 3’s, longest drive and items to auction off. This is a huge under taking and anyone who can volunteer would be welcomed and appreciated. More info to come in the next BRAG Alert.

  • 2/2 - U. Washington NCRC match at OSU SLP, 2:00 pm kickoff

  • 2/9 - at Boise State U. NCRC match

  • 2/16 - at WWU NCRC match, Bellingham

  • 2/23 - U of O NCRC match, at OSU SLP, 6:00 pm kickoff

  • 3/2 - NCRC Semi-Finals

  • 3/9 - NCRC Finals

  • 4/1 - First Spring semester practice - April focus on 7s Rugby

  • 4/13 - 7s tournament

  • 4/20 - 7s tournament

  • 4/27-28 - NCRC 7s Championship Tournament 

  • (qualifier for USA 7s)

  • May 25-27 National Collegiate 7s Championship 

  • (if we win NCRC 7s tournament in April)
